Today I am happy.

Need to tell myself to put my phone away and enjoy the trip home.

Who knew that an old email can bring back so many vivid memories. I was looking through my inbox in search of an old email with my resume…. and bam… there it was… a suspicious email to a friend of mine. I opened it… read the first line and just had a flashback of you.

The whole email was a recap of the last night we spent together…. I really didnt realise how happy we were that evening until I read that.

No point questioning “what happened” this was over a year ago… and I have moved on and so have you. And we are both happy right?

I shouldnt even be going there with this post….and even if today for an unknown reason you rang me. I dont even think I would be happy or willing to talk to you. I think in my strength I would silence the call.

What for…. When I saw you at the shops, I turned the other way and kept walking.

You are no longer apart of me and wont ever be in that way anything that would make my life better.

A nice caring man told me I was beautiful. It was in that moment that I knew you were never good enough for me and that He was everything I was looking for in a man

I may miss you, as in the person you were without me…. but I dont miss the person you were with me.
